The Neighbourhood Watch was set up in 2014 by Pamela Ramtohul and has a Facebook Group page for communication. Pamela is inviting anyone living in Park Avenue, New River Crescent or adjacent and neighbouring roads to join the Facebook Group.  You can go straight to the page by clicking here or type in 'Neighbourhood Watch: Park Avenue and New River Crescent' to find the group.  Then request membership and Facebook message the group (Pamela) telling her which road you live on........

The new Neighbourhood Watch that was set up to cover Park Avenue and New River Crescent was formally registered with ourwatch.org.uk in June.  It has its own Facebook page for communication between residents of these two streets. The new neighbourhood watch for Park Avenue and New River Crescent got off to a lively start on 3rd June, when around 30 residents attended a meeting at the Fox, set up at the initiative of Pamela Ramtohul, a relative newcomer to Palmers Green, who in preparation for the meeting called at every house in Park Avenue and most addresses in New River Crescent. She told the meeting that she had become aware that there was a proper community spirit in the streets, though less so towards the Green.......

A new neighbourhood watch scheme is being set up, covering all houses in two Palmers Green streets - Park Avenue and New River Crescent. The new watch is the brainchild of Park Avenue resident Pamela Ramtohul, who is inviting everyone living in the two streets to a meeting on Tuesday 3rd June (7.30-8.30pm in the function room at the rear of the Fox pub).  Jennifer Arkwright, the Police Community Support Officer for Palmers Green, will also be at the meeting, where she will listen to what.......

Following the demise of the large Neighbourhood Watch in the Fox Lane area and the police recommendation that smaller Watches should be set up, covering at most one or two streets, Palmers Green police have provided some guidance on how Neighbourhood Watches work - see below. Fox Lane & District Residents' Association (FLDRA) has announced the discontinuation of the Neighbourhood Watch area which had the same boundaries as the area covered by the FLDRA.  On Police advice, it is recommending the setting up of smaller neighbourhood watches comprising one or two streets.  It is also alerting residents to possible implications for their household insurance.
