Two theatrical groups that are part of Edmonton-based Face Front Inclusive Theatre will be treading the boards at the Dugdale Centre this month. Broken Silence Theatre Group will be performing The Myth of Marvo's Millions (11th and 12th July), while InterAction Theatre Group's production, Between the Wi and the Fi, will be staged on 25th and 26th July.

On Sunday afternoon the curtain came down on Snow White and, if its owners have their way, also on the Intimate Theatre. Fittingly, the theatrical company putting on the final show at the Intimate was St Monica's Players, named after St Monica's church, which owns the property, and the group which is most associated with the campaign to prevent demolition of this historic Palmers Green landmark.

Patrick Samuel - one of the artists involved in Enfield's bid for cultural recognition An exhibition of work by Palmers Green artist Patrick Samuel will launch Enfield Council's bid for the borough to become a "London Borough of Culture". Play in a Day - Chickenshed’s Autumn Half Term workshops for children aged 5 – 11 years. Over the course of an enjoyable day, children will participate in story-making, dancing, drama, singing and play. The children will work together in the morning to develop creative ideas that will then be developed in the afternoon – ending the day with a sharing of a short performance. Next week the Dugdale Centre will be presenting a play written by an Enfield resident designed to alert young people and their parents and teachers about some of the dangers that thoughtless use of online social media can cause. A play to be performed this week at the Dugdale Centre traces the lives of two notable women from Edmonton - one thought to be a witch, the other a saint. Calling it a "play" doesn't really do it justice - The Determined and the Damned includes especially written lyrics, a live band, films clips and animation. Local theatre group InterACTion has assembled a cast of 25 people to present the two lives.  Three different actors play the "witch", three more the "saint".  Reflecting.......
