 What you will learn

For sewers who would like to progress to making their own clothesyou will learn how to make a pair of straight legged casual trousers with an elasticated waist. You will be using a commercial pattern. This course is aimed at intermediate sewers who are experienced with their machine not beginners. You will learn how to put together an elasticated waistband, insert pockets in the side seams.

What you need to bring

We provide sewing machines. If you have material you would like to use to make your trousers please bring along. Recommended fabrics- viscose, rayon or crepe. You should need a maximum of 1 metre x 150 cms wide fo material. Or you can purchase material in the shop at a discount of 20% on the day.


DURATION: 4 hours

DATE & TIME: Saturday 27th July ’19, 1-5pm

Refreshments: Tea/ coffee/ soft drinks and biscuits provided.
