No one knows your streets better than you. That’s why we’d like your help shaping the plans for your neighbourhood by telling us your thoughts and sharing with us your experiences of your local area.

We would like to invite you to a Public Exhibition of the Council’s revised Quieter Neighbourhood proposals to examine plans and discuss the proposals with the design team.

Enfield Council has declared a climate emergency and it is now time to take action.

As Chair of the Climate Change Task Force I support the implementation of Low Traffic Neighbourhoods across our borough. We need to make changes to our streets to reduce pollution, combat rat-running and provide safer spaces for people of all ages. I want to encourage people out of their cars and enable more people to choose to walk, cycle or use public transport to enjoy our parks and high streets. Becoming more active will also help in our fight against obesity in Enfield and ensure our borough becomes healthier and happier.

We must look to the future. We need to take action now to help continue to build strong and connected communities across Enfield. I believe this Fox Lane Low Traffic Neighbourhood proposal can help towards achieving this. Please take a few moments to look online and share your thoughts with us - I look forward to reading them.

Councillor Ian Barnes
Winchmore Hill Ward
Deputy Leader of Enfield Council
