Southgate Office Village redevelopment: Community view meeting

St Andrews, Chase Side, N14 5PP

201906 southgate office village meeting

There is a plan to rebuild Southgate Office Village as a mixed office and housing development, with several tall buildings, including a 17-storey tower.

SDCT see this as a key location for Southgate, and want to give the people who live, work, or have an interest in Southgate the opportunity to discuss what you could support on this site.

We want the community to be at the heart of determining the future for Southgate:

Join us to share your thoughts and have your say on how you believe the Southgate Office Village site should be redeveloped. This is an opportunity to discuss what you think should be on the site.

Where is Southgate Office Village?

On Chase Road next to the Hart pub backing onto Park Road and the railway line by M&S.

Want to join in?

This event is free and open to everyone living or working in Southgate or who has an interest in Southgate’s future. It is independent of the council and developers and will be facilitated by Civic Voice.

Date & venue:
Saturday 22nd June 9:30am – 3pm
St Andrew’s Church, Chase Side, Southgate, N14 5PP

Community Feedback:
Monday 24th June 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Civic Voice, the national charity for civic societies, is facilitating this event and as part of their preparation has created a short survey. Even if you are not planning to attend, it would be extremely useful if you could complete the survey.  The more responses we receive the easier it will be to understand the views of those living and working in Southgate.  It is really short and quick to fill in!

The survey link is: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6MYFXM6.

If you would like to join us on the day, there is still time to register.  You can find more information on Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.com/e/southgate-office-village-community-view-registration-62395495607.

We will be starting at 9.30am and finishing at 3pm. Although you do not have to attend for the full day, we hope you will stay as long as possible, as this will give you a greater opportunity to feed into the final report.

The developers of Southgate Office Village have now applied for planning permission.  You can view the application via the London Borough of Enfield Planning Portal: planningandbuildingcontrol.enfield.gov.uk/online-applications/.  The reference is: 19/01941/FUL
