Two-week course: Learn to refashion a garment

Stitch!, 397 Green Lanes, N13 4JG

201907 refashion

What you will learn

Have you got an item of clothing you’ve never worn or stopped wearing because you think it’s out of fashion, doesn’t fit anymore or you simply love the material but you don’t like the style?

Come along to Hattie’s sewing lessons and restyle your garment/ material. Make a skirt out of a dress- a blouse out of a skirt or just customise the garment you would like to change.

Bring along your fabric/ garment and choose a pattern from our selection which you will be shown how to cut out and put together.

In putting the garment together Hattie can help you to insert a zip, pockets, waist band facing, how to use bias binding and several ways of how to take up a hem and finish off your garment.

What you need to bring?

Bring along your fabric/ garment. Any material you need can be bought from the shop on the day with a 20% discount.
