Come and have lots of fun, and be extremely creative, on a Monday night at the Writing Room, with fantastic poet and tutor, Paul Lyalls. (If you can't make Mondays, let us know, we might put on a day time course).

Paul’s Finding the Poem – this course was brilliant, in my experience, as were the cakes! I have never been to a course like it. I think this fun course truly helps you think ‘out of the box’ of your own habitual thinking. Paul has a true sensitivity to the emotions created in producing various pieces of work. Barbara, Poetry Writing Student

Finding the Poem (for prose writers as well as poets) with Paul Lyalls

Monday evenings 6.45pm-9.15pm; dates 25 Feb, 4, 11, 18, 25 March, 1 April; cost £95; venue Writing Room, Wood Green

Complete beginners to poetry sought!  Relative newcomers very welcome!  Seasoned poets – come along too!

This is a course for anyone who wants to liberate their creativity and immerse themselves in the joy of language. Playful, fun, entertaining, enlightening – explore your word power with Paul Lyalls. Write about your life, your dreams, your memories, your desires! Let the words show you the way... Sharpen your pencils, what you write will be colourful!

A note to prose writers: have you ever wondered what it is like to write in the poetic form? Perhaps you write in prose automatically, but would like to try to use language in another way. If your fiction needs a lift, if your life-writing needs lilt, if your central characters don’t quite sing (or even if they do!) you can free your writing through poetry.
