Calling violin, viola, cello, bass and brass players!

Good amateur musicians needed for the North London Symphony Orchestra.

NLSO is a friendly hard-working amateur orchestra which performs a wide range of symphonic music to a high standard under a professional conductor and leader.

Recent concerts have included works by Berlioz, Brahms, Dvořák, Elgar, Mahler, Mendelssohn, Rimsky-Korsakov, Shostakovich, Sibelius and Stravinsky. Upcoming season includes works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saens, Weber, Rachmaninov, Patterson and Bloch.

We would love to hear from players of a good standard. New players attend for a trial period: there are no formal auditions. The orchestra also maintains deputy and waiting lists for woodwind and horn players.

We rehearse on Mondays during term time (19.30 - 22.00) in Crouch End, N8     @NorthLondonSymphonyOrchestra
