First question: Which are you best at? - Poetry? Life Writing? Or fiction?

Next question: Are you sure?!

Here at the Collage Writing Room we have designed a course to let you experiment with your writing self - try your hand at poetry, life writing and fiction, play with language and have fun with the possibilities of different disciplines. Spaces left for you to join - and perhaps tell some of your friends who like the idea of writing, but have never quite made a start!

Explore Creative Writing with Sonia Lambert

Over the six sessions we will explore three areas of writing: life writing, short fiction, and poetry. We will look at examples of published work to consider the possibilities of each form, and – through fun workshop exercises in class – we will write our own pieces and share with the group. By the end of session six, students can expect to have generated a range of new work, and to have developed ideas about which writing projects or writing courses courses they might like to embark on next.

"Sonia is an absolutely fantastic tutor: clear, warm and inspirational! The group dynamic was superb, I'm sure in large part to her gentle leadership and great choice of writing exercises. We were all very productive and I surprised myself with what I was able to achieve."
