Collage Writing Room has four amazing courses to unlock your creativity this Spring. All courses are held at the much-prized writing studio at Collage Artspace 3, behind Blue House Yard near Wood Green tube. The options below all start in February and cater for everyone from experienced creative writers to people finding their way into writing.

Finding the Poem

A wonderfully enjoyable course which releases your inner poet and makes a really fun and productive Monday night out. The poet Paul Lyalls is your expert guide and tutor.

Inspire Your Writing

Perfect for people feeling their way into writing, returning after a break, or just wanting to get ideas for new writing projects. A fascinating and fun course with a warm and supportive group environment created by novelist Sonia Lambert.

Thursday mornings, 10.30am to 1pm; Feb 27, March 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2; cost £99

Prioritise Your Writing

For people with a defined prose project in full flow, be that a novel, short story collection or memoir, who would benefit from the accountability of a group in order to make significant progress. You must be able to commit to the sessions but you can expect your tutor Alison Chandler to help move you on leaps and bounds!

Novella Fever

For anyone serious about getting stuck into a mid-length piece of fiction. Do you have a short story with potential for growth? Or a novel which is too unwieldy to approach? Join Picador author Kiare Ladner for a really intensive work out on all things novella!

New cinema course starting in March: Documentaries

Cinema started with documentaries or 'actualities'. Newsreels quickly started playing a key role in how people got their news. Alongside pioneers of fiction films were pioneers who used the moving image to document the world, to explore issues, to challenge and to campaign.
