cooking championsSplendour & Sparkle will be launching "Cooking Champions" in September 2017 - cooking lessons for children with an emphasis on healthy living.

Lessons will take place at Palmers Green United Reformed Church (Fox Lane/Burford Gardens) on Thursday afternoons. Times will be as follows:

  • Preschool 2pm-3pm
  • 5 to 9 year olds 3:15pm - 4:15pm
  • 11 to 14 year olds 4:30pm - 6pm

The hour sessions are £10 each or £8 each if you book five in advance. The hour and a half sessions are £14 or £11.20 each if you book five in advance.

For the preschool session a parent/carer/family member must be present with the cook for the whole hour. Children older than 5 do not need an adult accompanying them.

Children will complete booklets over the course of the lessons learning how to make healthy breakfasts, main meals, desserts and snacks. Every child will get a personalised menu with a photo of their work sent to you and a certificate when they complete a booklet.

Due to the small class sizes, spaces are limited so get in touch to secure your place: or 07862700745.
