Enfield Health & Wellbeing Centre have suspended all their normal activities and are instead offering a 24-hour telephone befriending service to people aged 60 and above who live alone or need someone to talk to.

It can feel lonely for those living on their own or who are unable to leave their homes during this difficult time.

We are offering a 24-hour telephone befriending service for the over-60s who would like someone to talk to.

London Borough of Enfield Covid-19 Mutual Aid

The London Borough of Enfield Covid-19 Mutual Aid group on Facebook is one of around 150 Covid-19 Mutual Aid groups that had been created around the UK as of Sunday lunchtime. Volunteers are coordinating via WhatsApp and Facebook groups and offering people in self-isolation help with shopping, dog walking and picking up prescriptions. Read more
